I spent a chunk of today back inside the CultureHub duet, the piece where sound moves across six seats like it's walking through a room. I added climbing octaves and some delicate top lines, then went back in and softened the whole thing with swing, longer envelopes, and echoes that trail off into the space instead of stopping dead. At some point I split the melody and drums so they land in a three-against-two rhythm bouncing seat to seat, which is the kind of thing that sounds simple written down and took a while to actually feel right. Alongside that I wrote a two-laptop line score and cleaned up the CultureHub bridge handoff, then spent time on the boring but necessary stuff , hardening the wifi reconnect so it doesn't sit dead for a minute, fixing a wrong preset password, and sorting out which CultureHub network should actually be the one things auto-connect to.
