Most of today went into notespatial. It's a suite now, eleven chapters, and the idea at the center is simple to say and took forever to get right: every laptop in the room shows its real screen, and every laptop counts the same in the mixdown. No lead instrument, no back row. I got the notes to fill the frame properly, gave hits a blink before they recede, colored everything in notepat's palette, and got taps and kick and snare their pitch back after I'd let it slip. There's a light theme now that follows the system appearance instead of fighting it. And there's a thirteen-minute ring form built on rehearsal files, where the pulse arrives instead of dropping, and you hear the ring from the middle of the room instead of from any one seat. On the native side, I baked it in as the default spatial score, so a laptop can just seat itself when it joins.
