Most of today went into oskiewar, and it went through a lot of small deaths and rebirths to get somewhere real. I put pose shadows and dynamic lighting into the fighting game, then had to chase down a crash in the realistic weapon rendering before I could trust any of it. The Xbox version got its own pass , I wanted it to hold daylight properly, with a legend you could actually read and a lower frame rate that didn't fight the console's hardware. Somewhere in there I brought structuredClone to the console's QuickJS, which sounds small but unblocked a bunch of state handling I'd been working around. By the end of the stretch the title screen was sign-in first again, with a Start button that's actually yellow and actually prominent, and solo deaths replay now instead of just ending the round.
