The daily from aesthetic.computer, free skate, replays, and a recovered app. Approximately two minutes. I spent part of today untangling a mess in ESOL, the native app work. There was a release that had lost some upstream work along the way, and instead of quietly shipping it, I added a check that rejects any release missing that preserved work. Then I packaged up the recovered account-gated app and pushed it through a couple more passes, fitting the login widget so it actually works on small windows and smoothing out the account and setting screens so they don't feel like they were bolted on after the fact. Halfpipe, Vert, loops, a boomer board, momentum that actually carries. Replays got more honest along the way. They now carry projectiles and wind back properly, and when there's an explosion, the replay actually shows it instead of skipping past. Captions name their keys now instead of showing raw codes, and I put dashes in to make fast motion read as streaks rather than blur. On the Mac side, I chased down why the dock wasn't showing an icon after install. Turned out the app needed to be re-registered so the dock would actually draw the tile it was given. Three release stamps went out over the course of the day as these landed. Smaller thing, but it mattered. I found the paper's rsync key was sitting in Root's home directory on the oven instead of the oven user's home, which is the kind of thing that works until it very much doesn't. Moved it. And on menu band, I stabilized the live audio path and made tape exports asynchronous. So exporting a tape doesn't lock up whatever else the audio is doing. That's today.
