I spent most of today back inside oskiewar, patching up the parts that had gone quiet on me. The three-dimensional playground came back, and with it the bullet ricochets, which had been missing for a stretch without anyone noticing until I went looking. I put real work into the pistol audio too, because it had been thin, almost apologetic, and now it has some weight behind it. Then I moved on to smaller things that add up: the wheels got quieter, there's an audible pulse now, an idle close-up, and something I'm calling a film finish, just a pass to make the whole thing feel less like a test build. I also went back into the fight and freeskate jump arcs and tightened them, since they'd been floaty in a way that bugged me every time I played it.
