Notifications used to fire whenever they felt like it, and I went through and made them deliberate instead, only speaking up when there's something worth saying. Along the way, I gave AC's icon a drip, a small liquid touch that didn't exist yesterday. Then I prepared the 1.2 release with measured foreground usage, so the app has a clearer sense of when it's actually in front of someone versus just sitting open in the background. The bigger thread was ESOL getting a Windows body. I built it on the App Veyer runner that was already sitting there, which meant wiring up a beta with protected browser sign-in and native packaging instead of starting a build pipeline from scratch. That led to a string of smaller repairs, handling the WebView2 preflight so tests don't lie about what's actually installed, verifying credential rotation, and writing up how a release actually gets published from a stage checkout. None of it is glamorous, but it's the difference between a beta that quietly works and one that quietly doesn't. On the machine side of things, I fixed public machine entry routing and a MIME alias that was tripping over TLS and made the guide hosts match case insensitively, because someone's machine name was never going to type itself in one consistent case forever. I also set up so a behind checkout can deploy main as it's pushed without accidentally permitting, commits nobody's seen yet. And Walkieware kept moving underneath all of it, build 82 today, with culture and place adjectives now changing how a piece looks rather than what language it speaks, and a one line statement of itself that gets fed back on every edit.
